Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our professional chauffeur, ready to escort you to the lively city of Nairobi. Your journey begins with a smooth transfer to your luxurious accommodation, were contemporary comfort blends effortlessly with authentic Kenyan hospitality.
If you have arrived early, do an optional city excursions include a visit to the Giraffe Center or Karen Blixen Museum.

Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Day 3 & 4: Masai Mara – Game Drives & Cultural Tour

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Jinja, Uganda

Day 8: Ziwa - Murchison Falls National Park
Travel to Murchison Falls National Park, home to a wide variety of wildlife. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.

Day 9: Murchison Falls Game Drive & Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, set out on a morning game drive across the savannah in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. The park’s diverse ecosystems offer excellent opportunities for spotting both predators and herbivores in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a 2:00 PM boat cruise along the Nile River toward the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, look out for pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. The cruise culminates at the thunderous base of the falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge an unforgettable sight.

Day 10: Murchison Falls – Kibale National Park (Chimp Trekking)
After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, a lush tropical rainforest famously known for having one of the highest concentrations of chimpanzees over 1500 chimps in East Africa. The scenic drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages, offering a glimpse into rural Ugandan life.
Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and take time to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Prepare for the exciting chimpanzee tracking experience scheduled for the following day.

Day 11: Chimpanzee Tracking – Bigodi Swamp Walk
After an early breakfast, head to headquarters for a briefing before embarking on an unforgettable chimp trekking adventure. In groups of up to 8 pax, you’ll be guided by experienced park rangers as you explore the dense forest in search of one of man’s closest relatives. During the trek, you may also encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.
Return to the lodge for lunch, spend the afternoon on a guided nature walk through the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-managed reserve is known for its rich biodiversity, particularly birdlife, including the Great Blue Turaco and other endemic species. The walk also offers a chance to see monkeys, butterflies, and learn about local plant species and conservation efforts.

Day 12: Kibale NP- Queen Elizabeth National Park (Boat Cruise)
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic protected areas. The journey offers beautiful views of the countryside, crater lakes, and the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This cruise offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, with large concentrations of elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species often seen along the banks.

Day 13: QENP- Game Drive- Bwindi National Park
Start the day with a game drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its rare tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees. After the drive, continue your journey toward the misty forests of Bwindi National Park home to the mountain gorillas.
N.B Where you stay will depend on which sector your gorilla trekking permits are booked for, as the park has several different starting points.

Day 14: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Batwa Community
After breakfast, set off for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in groups of up to 8, accompanied by professional rangers and porters who help carry your gear and support you along the trail. Once the gorillas are located, you’ll have up to one hour to observe them in their natural habitat.
If you return to the lodge before lunch, enjoy your meal and, if you’re up for it, take part in an optional visit to the Batwa community. Known as the “Forest People,” the Batwa are the original inhabitants of the Bwindi Forest. During this cultural encounter, you’ll discover their traditional music, dance, and deep-rooted connection to the forest, while gaining insight into their unique way of life and the challenges they face today.

Day 15: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi – Canoeing
After breakfast, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, often regarded as one of Uganda’s most scenic and tranquil lakes. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy a leisurely lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride across the lake’s calm waters, exploring its many islands and taking in the surrounding natural beauty.

Day 16: Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe Airport – Flight to Nairobi
After breakfast, drive to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Nairobi in the Evening. Along the way, make a brief stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir shopping.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 17: Departure
Spend the day exploring some of Nairobi’s highlights, depending on your flight schedule. You may choose to visit popular sites such as the Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, or local craft markets. Later, transfer to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable 17-day Masai Mara and gorilla trekking adventure.
