Nairobi National Park – The World’s Only Wildlife Park in a Capital City
Nairobi National Park is a unique wildlife sanctuary located just 7 kilometers (4 miles) from Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi. Covering 117 square kilometers, it is the only national park in the world located within a capital city, offering a surreal contrast between wild nature and an urban skyline. Despite its proximity to the city, the park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos, as well as over 400 species of birds.
